Album spécial Yeah I do feel like we've become friends through this book, she writes with such a personal touch, like she really wants to inspire and connect with others through her Year of Yes experience :) one thing I absolutely love is that I don't feel like she's /praising/ one side of social behavior - she talks about the joys of saying YES to things more, which often includes daring social public activities, but she also loves and sees the joy of 'introversion', to kick back at home with your closest loved ones.

The stories of the Bible would be drastically different if the characters all said no.

I liked hearing Rhimes talk about her life in broad gestures, but that's all it was. She talks about balancing life and work, which is tough when you're a woman trying to take a seat at the proverbial table.

She turns down invitations because she's terrified and wants to avoid attention. Who knew this was what I needed to hear? I'm a divorced single parent trying to make waves in a new career and scraping through to get food on the table. She's a writer. Being on the other side of yes leads us into growing strong in our relationships with God and one another. She's a writer. September 2020-August 2021, we are focusing on our On the Other Side of Yes initiative and believe that this season for Walnut Hill will be remembered as one of radical obedience and amazing breakthrough.
